As UN Women’s first Social Media Video Producer, I turned issues of gender equality and women’s empowerment into digestible and shareable social content.

Responsibilities:

  • Pitch, research, script, produce, and edit original, engaging social-first video content for global social media channels

  • Conduct in-person filming with UN Women personnel and other stakeholders

  • Provide technical guidance to field offices and headquarters on social media video production and optimization

  • Support on monitoring, analyzing and reporting on social video engagement to inform content strategies

Achievements:

  • Wrote, produced and edited 50+ videos for global social media channels

  • Developed social media production kit and studio space

  • Shot and edited videos of executive leadership

  • Produced campaign videos for key campaigns including International Women’s Day, 16 Days to End Violence Against Women, COP28, UNGA and the Olympics
