As UN Women’s first Social Media Video Producer, I turned issues of gender equality and women’s empowerment into digestible and shareable social content.
Responsibilities:
Pitch, research, script, produce, and edit original, engaging social-first video content for global social media channels
Conduct in-person filming with UN Women personnel and other stakeholders
Provide technical guidance to field offices and headquarters on social media video production and optimization
Support on monitoring, analyzing and reporting on social video engagement to inform content strategies
Achievements:
Wrote, produced and edited 50+ videos for global social media channels
Developed social media production kit and studio space
Shot and edited videos of executive leadership
Produced campaign videos for key campaigns including International Women’s Day, 16 Days to End Violence Against Women, COP28, UNGA and the Olympics
